A Life Care Plan is an advanced practice that creates a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis and research, which then provides an organized and concise plan for current and future needs with associated costs, for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health care needs
(IALCP – International Academy of Life Care Planners, 2003. Definition established during the 2000 Life Care Planning Summit).

Many times following an injury, family members must step in to provide care for their loved one. While this support is often given willingly, ongoing caregiving responsibilities can lead to significant physical, emotional, and financial strain on the family.
I complete detailed task analyses to document the care needs currently being provided. This includes identifying the nature, frequency, and duration of each caregiving task, as well as the level of assistance required. Properly documenting these tasks helps establish the true scope of care, supports future planning, and can inform decisions regarding appropriate compensation, outside support, or long-term care resources.

Often, attorneys need only one or two surgeries costed out, and a full evaluation is not required. A medical cost projection is a cost-effective way to obtain accurate, defensible numbers that can be entered into court. This focused service provides the essential cost information needed for negotiation, mediation, and litigation without the expense of a comprehensive life care plan.

Precision specializes in developing recommendations for durable medical equipment, wheelchairs and accessories, seating systems, communication devices, and adaptive equipment throughout the lifespan.

As an occupational therapist, I will come to the home and recommend proper architectural recommendations needed to live safely in the home.
Do you need the price for a surgery, but not a full life care plan? Simple medical cost projections.
